Just wanted some advice from everyone on ice/alpine conditions in early december. I am planning a trip for the second week and have been considering the following locales:
ouray-never been there
hyalite canyon-never been there, but can stay w/family in bozeman at the trailhead entrance
scotland-never been there
chamonix-never been there, but will be living in switzerland in a year and a half, so may wait
canadian rockies-been there twice, love it
given the choice where would would you go if someone else is paying the tab and you were happy doing either long alpine ice/mixed routes as well as shorter waterfall ice and mixed?
appreciate any opinions...
