I just discovered that I have to use all of my vacation days before the end of the year or I will lose them. I want to go climb, leave from NY on Thanksgiving and spend 2.5 weeks somewhere warm. I will be travelling alone and would like to stay in a climbing community where I can easily climb and be social with climbers. I am looking for any suggestions any where in the world. I can only lead sport so I would prefer to climb somewhere bolted.
Ideally I am looking for a community similar to El Potrero Chico in Mexico. With a good scene and cheap lodging or camping. I would also like to be somewhere where I can lounge in the sun or on the beach on a rest day. Maybe Greece, Thailand, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
