A recent snippet on page 24 of the August Outside Magazine reads:

"Mars Rocks"
"A recent survey of 2,600 children by the SPACE DAY FOUNDATION, cochaired by
former U.S. senator and astronaut JOHN GLENN, found that most kids believe
the best reason to travel to Mars will be... rockclimbing."

A second snippet on the same page:

"If You Can Make It There"
"You can't buy it, but soon you may be able to scale New York's historic
Brooklyn Bridge. Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg is reportedly working with an
Australian company called BridgeClimb to bring legal climbing to Gotham's
272-foot-tall landmark span."

This is why Outside magagzine sucks.

Just my opinion. They did some articles in the past that really pissed me off because it had nothing to do with the backcountry or the activities of hiking, biking, mountaineering, etc. They suck!
