In reply to: So a friend of mine said that men after 30 have to work a lot harder on maintaining their "interest" Some guys still have plenty of lead in their pencil after age 30, or 40 or 50, etc. Is your "friend" a Brokeback Mountain kind of guy? Curt

Curt actually SHE mentioned they still come to attention, they just don't like to stay that way. SHE would probably turn the brokeback guys straight, so it's not "lack of inspiration"

Maybe its your friend's fault. My own specs at age 40? My tensile strength is still high, compressive might be down slightly from record highs but there are no obvious signs of weakness nor degradation of performance. Hell, it doesn't matter anyway. There's no little blue pill that will swell the average size of a 20 year old's wallet to that of a 40 year old's. Scoreboard. UB

No. He's saying an old man can take Viagra and regain the raging hard-on of his youth, but a young man can't take a pill to get him the income of an older "established" man, so BOOYA, says the well-off (if not gettin-off) old man.

Or are you saying it has to be the man's wallet that is thicker, in order for the woman to respect him or want him. And by saying that, aren't you ultimately saying that all women are "silly broads" who "need" a man to be above them financially?

I never said anything about women and money. That thought came only from your stale greying matter. You were taking an ill-informed jab at the sex prowess of men over 30, and I say, we not only have prowess, but more, and there isn't any pill that will get the young pup what the Established Man has. And I'm sorry for the jab at your friend, I'm sure she's hot and great at what she does, but simply attracts less lusty men. We'reNeverReallyEstablishedBonger

I'm 25 ... what the fuck could I be possibly trying to jab at? A not so distant future is the answer. (it was a rhetorical question anyway)
In reply to: There's no little blue pill that will swell the average size of a 20 year olds wallet to that of a 40 year olds. clearly a reference to the preference of money over youthful "eagerness" and what is it that a well established man has that makes him better than the young man, after he has taken the blue pill and is on par with young mans "prowess" I don't know how lusty my friends men are but I think the chances of attracting the "less lusty" men, as if they bear some particular characteristic are very slim

It sounds like the financial comment was taken way out of context. It wasn't inherently misogynistic; it seemed like an older-but-wiser jab that we will all be entitled to if we live to be that old.
