Is there someplace near T-wall to pick up a guidebook. Which book? Dixie Craggers TN, the pocket guide to T-wall, something else? Is the original Dixie Craggers worth having for T-wall or would it be more worthwhile to get the new book?

I don't know where you would pick one up near T-Wall, but the newest edition of the Dixie Cragger's Atlas is the one to get. If you only want T-Wall, get the pocket guide; if you plan on climbing anywhere else in the state, get the whole Tennessee book (the pocket guide is just the T-Wall chapter out of this book). The original Cragger would be worth having if you could get it, but it's been out of print for quite a while and is almost impossible to find. The new version is better anyway and more up to date.

I feel sure the climbing gear shops and/or climbing gyms in Chattanooga would sell these. Otherwise you can order it on the web site.

Check out my review here for the new Cragger: http://www.rockclimbing.com/...product.php?p=3655#R

T-Wall is just outside of Chattanooga. Rock Creek Outfitters is located on the north side of the Tennessee river near the Walnut Street bridge. Its sorta across the river from the Tennessee Aquarium. They are the best place to shop for climbing / outdoor gear in the area - owned and operated by real climbers.
