Rendezvous TIME!!!!
OK ...
So far i know: Macherry, Jumpingrock, and Winter(***no more winter now btw) will be there (we'ze all gots to rope up)
and me and my partner ross will be there (with both of our racks) :wink:
As well a group (about 8) of friends (Sport climbin boulderers) i know will be comin
Who else will be coming???? We'll all be staying at WaterWorld as per usual
As lots of people ask, YES! i will be Ok to climb at that time and all my injuries will be in the past...
My Tick list is coming along...though there's only ONE route i'm going there for:
PhS (Piled Higher and Steeper) ** 5.10c 40m
In reply to: Howie Richardson, Aug 88 The off-width. If you need help finding or figuring out this one you should probably take up football. Two each of #4 Friends, #5 Camalots provides sport like overkill, but done first on hexentrics and tubes

I got chased out of Waterworld last summer by a 300 pounder at the front desk....won't be going back there. Still have nightmares about her.

winter's not coming phil, but i'm bringing along two friends from here.
the biggest piece i got is a # 3 camalot feel free to stuff it anywhere you want.
what day you heading out???

When is the long weekend? is that this upcoming weekend?
I'm flying into Vernon on Friday morning and desperately want to get down to Skaha for two days of fun. I don't think I'll have a car, but I do have a # 4 and # 5 camalot :shock:
If no one is passing through vernon willing to pick up a fellow climber then I might just try and cab it or greyhound it or hitchhike. I think it's only a couple hours away tops. I'm going to pick up a guide book tomorrow as it's my first time there. Am i correct that there is camping available at the crags?
I'm solo, any other climbers out there need a partner for this Fri/Sat?

the long weekend is the 3rd weekend in may, i believe it's around the 20th.
most people camp at waterworld....6 bucks a night. It is very close to the crags. if you ccan make it there, you will be guaranteed a ride to the climbing.

i just had to go to a posh gold club for my ma today....went over good with me: hightops, raggiest shorts, dress shirt (shelves cut off), 10-4 trucker sunglasses and my hair down...heheehehe.....she's use to my shenanigens though......the best part was when i breezed past the "dress code" sign
