I wish I was younger. I too climb/bike/run/paddle but I'm getting older. I doubt that I could do this any longer. Please keep this group or me abreast of your training and actual participation. What will the race entail...distances? days? events? Thanks Charlie

Does anyone know where to find information about other adventure races? I'd love to get into it, but think something a little lower level than the Eco Challenge would be a better place to start.

I think I watched that eco challenge on tv. How much does that thing cost? I remember it being a crap load of money, but the pay off is around 1million dollars I think. It looks really fun. now I must go to engish cass to learn about run-on sentenses. "me fail english? thats un-possible." "pppffft. who needs english? Im never going to england." -ralph and homer

Hey Danwilli there are a few of local mini versions of the eco challenge. Maybe more like triathalons with a twist. I think Rocky Gap St. Pk. in Maryland has one. There is one near Richmond I think. Try doing a search with triathalons. Many have mnt. biking kayaking and running. Charlie
