slept a couple of nights in heavy rain, no problem there. The thing is built as bombproof as a bivy can be. I think it would be pretty hard to destory it. I haven't slept in it during a horible windstorm, normal mtn windstorm only. i have used my buddies mtn hardware bivy, the rei bivy was at least as good, if not better. i like the fact that the rei bivy has an 6 zipper system, so you can hang your arms out and head out while being closed in.

I have one for sale too. I need to check but I think it was made by Climb High. Made with Sympatex which is Europe's answer to GoreTex. Tough fabric. It is new and I have the tags. How about $130 shipped anywhere in Continental US..
