I would guess the thread name is pretty close to the truth now. As for no climbing inb the name, look back through all these pages and see how much climbing you did to deserve it. You might be a Brent_e if you think you climb, when everyone knows you don't.

You have to degrade yourself to almost inhuman amounts of hours on this site. You have to search desperately for stuff to post even when you don't know what you're talking about or don't care what's being said. And you have to quote as many seperate times as possible, as per above, to justify not just quoting multiple times in one post. It's an art and a science all in one. It's like, say, welding. Brent

In my hayday, I would post in every thread in community then go to general and post in most of the threads there. (the active ones) I was sick, but I have seriously cut back.

(the active ones) I was sick, but I have seriously cut back. didn't you get 3000 posts one work term or something??? YOU, not j_ung, are godlike (hope Jay doesn't read this!!!) well yes but it was a 16 month work term! The highest density of posting that I had was summer of 2004. I posted over 2000 posts from April 2004 -> Nov 2004. And the differance between myself and j_ung is that after my peak I withered into a sad, non-posting sack. He has kept up the vigalence. We also had cheat threads back then... "The Person Above You" "The Person Below You" "The Longest Thread". If you think that this thread is a good post booster... you haven't seen post boosting.

You guys don't want to know how much Emilie was offered for her starting position. And then the benifits and perks and... jeez almost makes a computer geek want to go back to school.

Where did she get the job offer, out west? Depending on where she'll be working I have a pretty good idea of what people are making. Actually I got a call that I'll be getting a raise when I get back to work. I guess companies are starting to have to offer more money to keep people from heading out west. I'm starting to wonder what I could get in Nova Scotia now....it would be a much nicer place to live than Southern Ontario.
