So, since inline images are back, I thought an ongoing photo thread for the new year might be fun. Here are a few climbing images of mine from the last month or so. Please add yours!!

A few from last weekend at the red. These were all with my 70-200/5D, really like this combo for climbing, and I can see using it a bunch this year. As always, more on my web site if you are interested...

Nice! I'm guessing that's the 70-200 f2.8?

Thanks much. Yep, 2.8, but I think many/most of these were at 4.0, as the light was nice. EXIF should be embedded, I think.

The L 70-200, woohoo! What a fine chunck of glass, and image stabilized to boot. Thanks for the preview of things to come. I really like that shot of the woman about to make the clip!

mntlhuricane, Nice work. Man, you really captured the musculature in that first picture. That's one he'll show his grand children when he gets old!

Here's a couple of pix I took last night at the climbing gym I belong to. My goal this year is to climb the Nose of El Capitan and lucky for me Hans Florine (Current co-record holder of climbing the Nose on El Cap in 2 hours and 48 minutes) teaches a "Training for Climbing Class" that features a variety of training techniques. Here's a couple of the routines. Oh, the campus board is only used once a week for those that are wondering about injury. Clicking on the image will give you a larger version of the picture. Canon 10-22 mm, off camera strobe primary light and ambient light fill. This torture is called "How long can you hold a 10 pound weight with two fingers and a thumb?".
