The hangboard is getting my finger strength alot better, but I am kinda lacking thumb strength for small pinches.

I'm no expert but I would say climb routes you normally climb and instead of using holds as you traditionally do, try to do the route by just pinching the holds..

On most hangboards there are places that you can get some good pinches, so try to be more elaborate with what you use as "holds" on the board when training.

This is the one application those little hand exercisers (e.g. Gripmaster, Powerputty) are actually good for. If you squeeze 'em with the tips of your fingers and thumbs, you can actually get a pretty good burn. Alternatively, you can buy some slats of wood of different widths and mount them vertically next to your hangboard. You have to be pretty strong to actually hang on these, though.
