Only guessing here, but it probably has to do with a software update of some sort on your machine, rather than any change done to the website. I noticed it in Firefox at work, and had a look in IE7. Only FF was displaying the question mark icons. Then, I got home and tried it on FF here (same version as at work), and it was displaying the apostrophes just fine... The only difference I can think of between my machine at work and mine here at home is the Windows upates (though I am a bit skeptical that they would only cause problems for FF). I haven't updated my home machine in a while Edit (I am really going out on a limb here, because I don't remember which happened first, but worth mentioning...): I just installed Office 2007 at work a couple of days ago as well, but not at home.

DDT, any chance of moving this to the Bugs & Error Reposts forum? It definitely seems to be directly related to the newest version of Firefox. They seem to have tightened their (X)HTML standards. All of the pages that are displaying question marks (with or without the black diamond) are missing this META tag: <meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" /> (immediately after the <title> tag) As soon as I added that to the source code, BAM! looks as good as ever!

Hey, I've added this tag to the forums. Also replied to your thread in Bugs & Errors.
