I'm sorry, but i can't stop showing this off. i built mine into an existing structure already also. it really made the roof section feasible; which is where the gold is. check it:

I had a piece of plastic-like material lying around, I�m not sure what its called but its like typical PVC for plumbing, but its close too half an inch thick (much stronger than PVC) and about 5in in diameter. I coated the surface with skateboarding grip tape and bolted it straight to the wall at two points so it doesnt twist and its about 1.5 feet wide so I can easily match on it. I've also put a hang board on the wall about 3 feet below and climbing up and down between the two works awesome for training endurance on a small wall, and gives a great open hand pump.
