Does anyone know what the spray painted letters on the good anchor trees stands for?

If the letters happen to be "DMC", then it stands for "Dangerous, Mob-like Cult." Other than that, I have no help to offer. Next time, include the letters you're talking about. PS, I know it's a regional question, but unless you add the letters, the rest of us can't take a stab at it or even have a little fun in the process... hosh.

Rob will know better but if i remember correctly they were stupidly labeled anchors for some group..

How recent is this? If the letter "X" apperaed on my favorite anchor tree I wouldn't be surprised.....

The paint is actually done by the High School. They have pre-measured slings that they just toss up. Not a good idea if you want to teach people how to anchor. JP
