strained my hamstring I think. it hurts behind my knee when I bend it and push it outward. I did it a month ago and though it would work itself out... not a very smart view and I think I need to do something about it now. I was reading on a sports med page about stretches and bandaging it up. anyone else have this problem and/or a solution. cheers, sarahAnn

I tore my hamstring pretty bad in Martial Arts about five years ago and it never healed completely. Recently I was playing tennis and it sprung up again. My advice: Once you get a hamstring injury you need to take it seriously and stretch out every time before any exersice. esp. climbing.

You may want to see some one, if it is in your knee, and hurts to push it from teh side you may have strain or torn soem of the ligaments in your knee.

Sound like it might be a posterior cruciate ligament. Go see a specialist, it might be serious. Don't want to scare you, sorry, but don't chance it. Good luck Adam
