Hey im Very new to climbing as is my fiance neither have us have done any real climbing, just boldered around in Jtree. we are planning to head up to big bear in the near future, and i want to do some boldering or maybe even some caving with her in Holcomb valley. anyone know of any good spots for a couple beginners?

I never did any bouldering in Big Bear, but sport climbing in Holcomb Valley is gorgeous: very nice spot, good routes, great rock. I believe you can find some easy sport routes too.

I did some in Stoney Point, only 10 minutes drive from my in-laws, but I like the rope!
