Hey everyone,

i've been seeing beautiful pictures coming back from spain, france and italy... and i have finally saved up some cash.

i would love to go to europe for a week and a half over the xmas holiday, but i'm a little overwhelmed and undereducated to start my search.

i would prefer sport or boulders, and i speak a little french.

what area would be warm enough? font? verdon? melloblocco? i know nothing about spain or italy

thanks

mellobloco is not an area, but a bouldering even/comp in val di mello in italy Wink
fot wont be warm, but if its dry, it should be perfect for hard bouldering.

apart from that, head south. southern france seems like the place for you since you speak frenchWink

Hi !

(i'm french so please excuse my language)

Definitely I advise you to go in the "Calanques", near Marseille : sea, rock & sun ! Cool
And you wouldn't be far from the Verdon (2h by car).

The "gorges du tarn" (near Millau) could also be a good choice, but the area is not so beautiful compared to the Calanques.

Concerning Fontainebleau (or Ceuse), it could be a bit cold in winter...

If you need more information about climbing in France => PM Wink

Verdon will be pretty cold too...
I suggest you look south, Finale (Ita) Siurana (Spain) Sardinia is going to be windy and chilly this time of the year.
