So the guy i was climbing with yesterday had filed 2 little notches in the front 1/2 inch of his pick points. Says it helps him bite into stupid thin ice.
Any comments?

Yup.
We were able to glissade/buttslide the 1000' to the road after climbing yesterday... Saved a bunch of time, for the mild inconvienience of the occasional rock to the ballsack.
