I've been looking for some mammut yosemite draws (a set would be preferable), but i cannot seem to find any retailers that sell them. Does anybody know of a store that carries these draws? thx.

Does anybody know of a store that carries these draws? thx. $16.50 a draw. I've bought from these folks and they're reputable and fast. http://www.backcountrygear.com/...imbdetail.cfm/MAM251 Why the Mammut draw? What "Draws" you to them instead of like a Wild Country Helium draw?

I want something extendable for trad, and the wildcountry heliums don't do that as far as I know. These are also cheaper than the heliums. And buyng these draws is also cheaper than buying slings and biners and making my own. thx for the links and the help

I bought mine at the dreaded REI. Been awhile so there is no telling if they still stock them.

you can make them cheaper. I'll give you a couple ways. If you look hard and buy more then 5 you can get biners for around $5 a pop. And I got slings from Fish of ebay. If you look for sales you can do a lot better on trad draws then $16

Far more versatile than thin dyneema, and hold up better to a beating as well. And I can't believe the expense remark - typical trad draw costs me about $12 all told, but then again, I'm using Nylon slings which cost about 1/4th of skinny dyneema.

It depends what serves you best. The dyneema slings can be terrific for decreasing bulk on your rack. I use them specifically on long routes when i need to carry 12+ slings. Also, the biners they use are so light, it's ridiculous. I bought 2 sets from rei and love em. as far as where to get 'em. Watch spadout for online deals.

OK, I understand now, that seems like a good price too. I double my full length skiny Mammut slings and carry them as draws on my Heliums as well, works great.

Try www.gearx.com or try calling Climb High in Burlington, VT as they're the largest Mammut retailer in the US. Not sure how picky you are, but you can also try www.climbhighoutlet.com and check to see what they have for Mammut hardwear.
