I don't care what everyone says about you, you can be pretty useful sometimes.

well, I was recently in vegas with a bunch of frat bros, and LV_Kel had to work, so I had to make use of that. Oh, and OKel, I think you can park a lot closer than it says in that guide, there were a bunch of people parked right by where the trail starts to the boulders even though there were no parking signs there.

Good to know. I'm hoping the girl I am going with (who has to work) is going to drop me off there. Otherwise I will have to find an alternate way

a cab would be awfully expensive.

No buses up there I assume? Hrmm hitch a ride maybe

no buses that I'm aware of. lvkel could tell you more about getting out there, I've alwayz had a car.

Once you get the hang of hard alcohol, it is hard to go to anything different.
A beer drunk is the most fun for me. Hard liquor I just get drunk.

A bottle of wine and a few beers is quite awesome.
Lam opened a bottle of wine for cooking tonight. She isn't drinking it. So, I am having a nice night. My soon-to-be brother-in-law made it. Pretty decent white wine.

I will follow it up with beer after I finish this glass. (Yes, drunk posting tonight.)

Gotta love the drunk postings.

more ergonomic (helps with carpel tunnel syndrome)

Also, since it is more ergonomic, you are also slightly faster at typing.

the qwerty keyboard was originally designed to slow people down.

On the old typewriters, you had to wait until the hammer came back down from hitting the page. The difficulty in finding keys helped slow people down.

How does the FA thing work on ice? Is it still the first person to climb an area/section? Isn't it different, possibly significantly so, from year to year?
since I am drunk, I will answer a question I have no business responding to.

yes, they denote the route they went up. They denote the conditions usually, and then they rate it. Every year and time of the year will be different, but overall it will be predictable. So, early on in the season you could do the same route and find no ice. Very late in the season you can do the same route and find the ice had perfect development conditions the week before. Nornally, you can find the same route give or take a bit though.

A guide I was friends with told me a story about a guy that did a FA on Cannon. The FA went out solo onsight FA'ed a huge hard route. My friend was complaining in the story because he was at Cannon with a client, but couldn't do this route. He knew the conditions the prior month were similar. So, he could have repeated this route he looked up to in the same exact style and conditions.

When? If it was a while back it was probably Bouchard on the Black Dike. That was in the late 70s I think...maybe later.

He did solo the FA, though. Insane.

I told you it was teh lam3...
Jim was my German Sheperd.

wow. thats 3 german sheperds. popular dog

Are you including my half-tarded hip dysplasic shepherd?

Nope. It was Nate 1 Epok 1 Me 1 and then art. Is half tard a german shep though or aussie?

The halftard is a purebred german shepherd. The aussie is smarter than i am.

Normally its the opposite with us. We open a bottle of wine for drinking, find that its a pretty bad bottle, drink what we can and then use the rest for cooking. We do not cook with nice wine.

I've thought about making wine at home, but our house is never kept warm enough, and we don't really drink enough to bother.

Thanks

Actually I hate that phase of bleached hair, but I love it after it grows out. My uncle looks similar to me and started doing it to his hair. I haven't been able to do it lately because I can't get a month to grow it out. I think I should stay respectable until I have a job secured.

I may stop doing it though. One month of looking bad only to have about a month and a half of looking cool. (and highlights look gay. I am not going to do that as an alternative.)
I bleached my hair once. It was almost white.
you're lucky. I have to bleach mine twice in a row just to get that golden yellow. I think white would take 2 more times.
My aunt did it for me. She had to do it twice with real hair stylist bleaching stuff.
yea, I have heard theirs is strong stuff. I don't know that I want to spend 5 times the money on it though. The yellow works fine for me.
Just make friends with a hair dresser. My aunt did it for cost of the product.

Yeah floor tile. It should go faster than the tub though. The tiles are bigger and there is about the same floor space. There area a bunch of corners though and the tile will be running at a diagonal so it will probably take forever. At least the grouting and sealing should go quicker.

Shelties are not collies, they're barely dogs. Our neighbour had two. One bit my father.
