My dad competed in archery at a national level a bunch of times. So, I did a fair amount of shooting myself too.

I lived on a farm, so if I wasn't working I had a lot of free time as a kid with no way into town. I used a 45lb recurve, I've always wanted a compound though.

Yea, I always used compound bows with sights and all the other whirly-gigs too.

I guess that would explain why you were in Texas while she was out East. She's always been a Texan.... but yeah, her being in the East for the time being kinda sucks.... at least we see each other every 2-4 months usually.....not for too much longer though.... So she is still East? If I followed Rebecca here and then she went off somewhere else I'd politely ask her to go content moderated. Well not really. But it might cross my mind. I suppose if you stayed in Australia you would see each other less. If I was back in the States right now it probably wouldn't be any worse than what you have going on. Unless the boarder Nazis decided to not let her in. Kind of.... that's where she lives.... for the moment. I came here coz I got the position of TA and to do my masters and couldn't find anything out East. I took the opportunity. So she has no plan to come back to Texas? What we are doing right now sucks, but at least we get to be together. Why doesn't she come back? She'll be moving back to Texas in September and *that* will be fucking fantastic!! Finally we'll be able to move in together.... Outback Texas! I bet it will be. Hopefully the changeover goes smooth. You'll think the tough part is over when you are finally together but there will always be tough parts. Completely agree, however we're both in for the long haul.... and an enjoyable road trip of life it will be! Communication is key... and we have that figured out... it's the artery when there's 1000's of miles between you. Anyhoo... I need a beer! I found a place called Spec's that has my favorite Aussie beer. Finally! Coopers!! Woo Hoo!!!

It makes it hard for your bidy to read the chemicals that tell you when you are full so you keep gorging. It is likely why so many people in the States are so ridiculously fat. It is in almost every thing over there. Next time you are in the States bring back a can of your favorite soda, pop, or what ever you call it, and get a can of it from Canada. First compare the ingredients. Then do a taste test. Remind me tonight and I can give you an article to read about it. I did remind you and you didn't have it. But now I am more educated on the whole thing. I hope they don't start using it here
