In reply to: Best video is the one during which he has significant trouble finding a suitable nut placement: http://youtube.com/watch?v=O9fbbMscTJ4 Notice how the first "placement" he finds pops out easily with a stiff tug... Disclaimer...I have not read the replies to this thread past the quoted post. You can tell he doesn't know WTF he is doing by the way he is fishing around in that crack.

Man the plastic here is first rate...I have never climbed on such high quality plastic. The routes here are all way underrated I climb 5.16 and can barely make it up the 5.9s around here. Livin' here will definitely make you one hell of a badass.

Oh, man. These guys are notorious around E-Rock for gang roping climbs. They may not be the sole Christian group that frequents the park, as there can be literally dozens upon dozens of chuch camp kids as well. They even haul a wooden cross up the rock on Sunday mornings. Back in the day, a friend's little online climbing magazine had a hilarious cartoon about the ongoing relations between one of these guided groups and another non-religious guide service. It was priceless. Too bad it's gone now.

Now, how many of you bangers climbed any thing above 15000 feet? or how many of you ever gave a TR class ? Me....BTW, why does it go to a random part of the thread? Now I will read more.........

i didn't climb much when i was at the citadel (thas right) so i was nay aware of such a woman. "this is a lump of chalks, which is a generic term for pieces of protection in the rock. as you're climbing up the rock... if your doing something like tradtional climbing, meaning there's no clips on the rock face..." i need a lump of "chalks", you know like gold, for when i "repel" off the cliff, you know in case there's no bomb proof "clips".

His nut placement technique is more like "pokin' and hopin' ". I don't think I want him building my anchor. "This is a lump of chocks..." I wonder if he carries them in his chock sack.

Well, this guy has been checked up on and he was guiding at Enchanted Rock without a permit. Of course he doesn't appear to have liability insurance either, one of the conditions of guide service permit holders. So it's been passed off to the park super and if he goes out there again with clients he'll be ticketed.
