Touch it and I'll break your fingers.....unless it's one of those Krispy Kream pseudo-kruellers...then you can have it. Iced coffee this AM. Hope the (actual) Monsoon gets here quick. My datura metaloides is looking a bit peaked.

Traddad.....you snooze you lose. That krueller was consumed a couple hours ago. And it was delightful! Local bakery type...none of that overfried, hide the poor taste in 1/4 of sugar type. As for breaking my fingers? Dude, we can get you another! Better yet, I'll mail you a couple slices of fresh poppyseed roll.

I'll pass on the doughnuts too - Ma do you want to share some fruit with me? It's here for ya. BFR lots of hugs your way! Nice to see you Chad & everyone else. I hope today is better than yesterday. In the morning I gave myself a burn from the lamp at my desk...it is now blistered. Then in the afternoon I had a phone conference with the event planner I'm working with. I am promoting an event for a motivational speaker and it has not been going very well. We need about 200+ more peeps to sign up this week or we'll have to cancel. This means I have to make cold calls & drop-in visits...not my favorite. There is more but those are the most pressing issues of the moment. Here's to a much better day.

I've got 4 days off this weekend (friday off for Canada day, then one vacation day). Going climbing with a girl who recently moved to the area. We were going to head to the Gunks but she's not sure if her car will make it , so we're headed north for some limestone sport wanking. I've got some projects there from last year I was going to crush, but weather is starting to look pretty crappy....hope it clears up otherwise I don't know what we'll do. (and yes, Nathan has the car and he's in MN right now. We're stuck with her car)

Hey Wide! How are things going buddy? MMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Donuts. Well Today is one day closer to Friday! That's a good start. Pulling the Axels shafts on the truck tonight to replace the seals, was supposed to do it yesterday, but I was sicker than a dog after work. Looking forward to 4 days of camping on the weekend; Canada Day is Tues, so I took the Monday off too! Binrat is supposed to show up at teh camp and do some climbing too, which will be great times! 4Wheel, Climb, 4Wheel, then Beer! <--- You can N E V E R go wrong with that.

The cinnamon roll is mine. A short day. Should be done at work by 2pm or so. Any other time of year, that'd be awesome, but in this 113 degree heat, it simply means a longer afternoon spent sitting around the house in the air conditioning. Too hot to do anything outside. *sigh*

I'm off work tomorrow, for three days of clambing. tomorrow is rope-solo day, thrusday I'm partnering with an aquaintance for a sweet backcountry adventure-climb (couple mile hike up, bushwhack, rap to the base kinda deal), and friday prolly more rope-solo fun. home for the weekend, and sunday helping the daughters move with their mom to her BF's house near boston. bittersweet, that. in other news, I filled the tank of the ratty NewBeetle, about, umm, 4 weeks ago? sicne then I've driven it 3 times, and my oldest girl has taken it out a couple times. its still got a half tank in it. the scoot is my wheels, I've ridden everyday, rain or shine.

Better break out the mittens and wool socks.

I'm going to need a continuous caffeine IV to make it through this week. I'm going on vacation this Saturday, so this week will, well already is, going by soooo slow. Maybe if I'm wired the whole time I wont be able to notice how slow it's going. Being busy would probably help too, but I'm not.
