So, I didn't read the artical yet, but I have this mental image that goes like this: Person lifts antibiotics to lips and BAM!!!!!!! Tendon blows up. Sorry, I'm tired.

Great! One of the only antibiotics that I can take is dangerous! Good thing I don't get sick too much! From the article: Some of the ruptures reported to the FDA occurred without warning — the patient felt a snap or pop soon after starting treatment. Never noticed tendon issues while on Cipro, although I have had rotator cuff issues, one of the 'problem' tendons mentioned. But then again, lots of climbers have rotator cuff issues! Probably coincidence, but good to know!
