Sometimes doing something called a four-um serch is helpful when wondering if anybody on here has had anything similar to your own personal pain. However, I am just going to diagnose you as having a perforated, degenerated, fucked up triangular fibrocartilage since that is all I can think about anyway these days. Cheers!

TFCC tear is a candidate, but there are other possibilities. How did it start? Slow, gradual onset? Any obvious trauma? Is there any crepitus? (joint sounds, cracking, popping, snapping?) In any event, the injury clearly does not like pullups, or climbing. Don't keep doing those things. Don't test it every day, hoping it will "magically" get better. Take a break. Diagnostically, this question is important. Does it hurt to do a pushup, too? Or just a pullup?

doesnt hurt when i do puch ups.. it started gradually hurting only once and awhile.... when i went to the gunks this past weekend at the end of the day i was in alot of pain..... the was no fall or trauma caused to the wrist...except in my past.... i have broken this wrist about 3 times..one motorcycle accident. one fall and a break. and one skiing......but this pain is a whole new type of pain..... and i do hear a popping sound once and awhile... it also seem to hurt when i do 45pund bi-cep curls one armed

No pain while weight-bearing (push-ups) tends to rule out TFCC. That's good. (sorry aerili!) Could be some ligament strain/laxity from pulling roofs in the gunks, could be a joint tracking problem or arthritis from your history of fracture. I'd let it rest a couple weeks, then start strengthening wrist flexion/extension/pronation/supination. If it comes right back, see an ortho or good hands-on PT.

In reply to: Yah, well, I wasn't really being serious! Just to clarify...I wasn't saying, "sorry aerili, your diagnosis is wrong", I was saying, "sorry aerili, that your TFCC is jacked!" I hope you are well. Stay in touch.
