Here's the scoop. I'm 31, weak, and skinny with a bit of a belly.I'm also out of shape aerobically. I want to start bouldering but have know idea about how to start. I live in New Hartford CT. What do I need to do? Where do I start? I want to stay outside, and I realize that limits the season. Please help.

send a message to Java (greg) at Newenglandbouldering.com He will have great information about places to go and who to meet up with to get out bouldering.

Pshh to the limited season.. winter is far better for bouldering. get yourself a good warm jacket and some mittens for between burns and you're golden.

There's Pawtuckaway in NH and Lincoln woods in Rhode Island whic are probably within about 2 hours or so from you and both are top notch New England spots.

Get yourself a pad, shoes, a chalk bag, the New England Bouldering guide book and some warm clothes and you're all set.
