We're climbing in Kjugekull but staying in Växjö and I was wondering if there are any stores near by Växjö or Helsingborg (within 2 hrs time) where they have a lot of shoes for sale and to try.

surely Copenhagen is the closest BIG town for you. That's not much more than an hour drive from Helsingor..... IF you count the ferry, then that could be 2 hours????
Pretty pricey way to try on some new shoes though!

Sorry for the late answer, but I don't have anything to do, and, it's a postcount, right! 
But if you can't find a local climbing shop in Växjö or Helsingborg, there's a nationwide outdoor retailer in Sweden called Naturkompaniet that has a selection of climbing gear in some of their stores, with the store in Helsingborg being one of them. it's located on Södra Kyrkogatan 24.
I guess the selection is quite limited so they probably don't have "a lot of shoes" to try on. But I think it's at least as good as what you would find in e.g. Copenhagen, since the climbing crag north of Helsingborg is the homecrag for the Copenhagen climbing club, and most other climbing clubs in Denmark...
