I'll be in central PA (Middleburg/Selinsgrove) for Thanksgiving. I'd love to check out one or more of the climbing areas in PA if anyone wants to meet me somewhere. Bellefont, Macanaqua, Haycock, Birdsboro ... Anyone up for it? email or PM if you are

Hi Jeremy, Sounds like a good idea.As long as we have the weather,I am there. If not,we can always do indoors. The one gym here in my town has artificial rock that seems real. And some kicka$$ routes too! I'll PM you and see what we can do. Climb Happy(and unfettered) Mitch

Great Mitchal, glad you're interested, No, RW, I'm not trying to form a gathering, I'm just lookin for some knowledgable locals to climb with while I'm down there in PA for the weekend. Mitchal, et al, you say you'll be "there," maybe we should decide where "there" is going to be. A lot of people seem to be talking about Birdsboro. It sounds like a cool place but I wondering if there is somewhere closer to Harrisburg worth checking out (I'm staying about 45 minutes north of H'burg). If not, then Birdsboro it is ... Any ideas? Jeremy

nice, it looks like there's a few folks in for a birdsboro black friday. now, could someone please tell me how to get there? I'll be coming from Rts 11& 15 north of H'burg, so I guess I'll need to get on the PA turnpike (76, right?) heading east ... then what? THanks, jeremy

Jeremey: Again, did you want to meet somewhere to go to Birdsboro? Is that where you want to go on Friday? Let me know and I can meet you guys. It's a tricky place to get to. Additionally, a couple of locals are waiting to hear from me on this? Let me know. I'll also PM you. Chris

I might be able to make it. What time are you guys planning to arrive? I have plans for later in the day, but I'd love to get out and do some good cold-weather climbing. No sense wasting a day off work sitting at home. Sounds like fun, as long as the rock is dry enough....
