I am a newbie to this sport. Been climbing at Solid Rock Gym (Avondale/Tolleson) off and on but have never climbed outdoors. I have my own harness, ATC and shoes but nothing else YET. Is there anyone out here in the Phoenix area who can show a couple newbies (my wife and I) some good spots to start climbing outdoors and let me know what gear I need to climb some of the established routes out this way. Any info is greatly appreciated.

I can climb with you if you want...Camelback has a good easy area to climb and a multi pitch that goes at like 5.4/5 for three pitches. The Praying Monk is a good easy climb at 5.4 with great exposure and solid moves.

Let me know if your interested
