I'm looking for a guidebook of the Val David area of Quebec, or at least the Laurentians. Any help would be appreciated.

You won't have much luck.. There is only one guidebook that I know of for Val-David. It is quite good however it is out of print. A new version is said to have been in the works for a while now.

In any case they are sold in quebec sports shops and the Mountain Equipment Co-op. You could try calling the MEC in Montreal.

The only rock guides for the Laurentians are out of print, however, you can buy the photocopy of the Val David guide at the tourist information in the town.

Cheers,
Nik

The guidebook can now be purchased at the Chalet Anne-Piché, the information center and entrance to the parc. Also at La Cordée.
