Both writer and reader should note that Shadow Lake is a private, residential lake. Visitors are not welcome and trespassers will be prosecuted. There is no place to camp. The park is accessible only to paying members who own property adjacent to Shadow Lake. The specified "bouldering location" also lies on private property and is inaccessible to the public. Law enforcement officers will be summoned if non-members are observed trespassing property owned by the Shadow Lake Association and/or its members.

Why bother even posting about this place if it is illegal?
