Pfft! He is being a bit wimpy.
When I was six I had to have my bladder scoped. For those not in the know to do this a 1/8" diameter, 16" flexible tube with a camera is inserted up the urethra. For a six year old that was pain!

All I know is that during the procedure I could have used the little boy’s room! In addition to pain the tube makes you have to wee wee.

LOL, yeah, I read and thought the same thing.
But then I remembered a friend of mine who CAN'T handle pap smears. She has given birth to 4 kids, without any pain medication. Just don't ask her to do a pap test-- she would start hyperventilating at the very idea...
People are weird sometimes.

I'm always wary of guys who look like they could be 1. a linebacker, 2. a gang member, 3. have entire body covered in tattoos 4. or any combination there of. They are the ones who tend to pass out on me with IV's, lines, epidurals, etc.

Great for assessing the relative pain factor. I use 14 gauge needles as a diagnostic tool.
