What kind of push-up do you do? A regular military push-up or some kind of variation?

I do quite a bit of dumbell pushups, using the hex shaped dumbell for maximum dip, and I rotate between wide grip, close and v-angle to keep things fresh.

depends on the goal of the workout. am I training power? strength? body tension?

I find I can do 50+ pushups if I do them as quickly as possile, but maybe closer to 30 if they're done slowly.
