Of course everybody knows you can see some really unique/wacky climbing gear on ebay, and i'm wondering, if anybody has actually used these nut-crack-jumar things in the top of the picture

In REAL gear, those would be two nuts on the same cable, with the top nut reversed

These would have been set like stacked nuts, but on a single cable.

Essentailly the precurser to the sliding nut.

Stubai made some like these in the 70's and 80's.
