hmmm, you got me thinking... I'll check the papers that came with my camalots, thanks. but I always thought that one wholesome piece of sling between you and your anchor is better than 2 slings with a biner between them especially on wandering routes where that by chance that biner could open against the rock... In that case I would always clip both biners - the racking one and the one on a draw.

Furthermore, you want more "sling" on wandering routes, not less. And clipping both 'biners?! Overkill, IMO. Too much time for leader and cleaner.
