FYI, Haines and Kibblehouse have generously donated a porta potty to the Birdsboro quarry. It will be housed in the bunker at the entrance to the climbing area. We will have the porta potty in place for the summer/fall climbing season. If you would like to send a thank you note to H&K, let me know and I will send you our contract name and address.

Getting right up there. We got one at McConnells mill about 3 years ago. So nice.

Thanks to them. And hopefully local kids won't vandalize it and make it a hassle for H&K.

Hopefully they won't, but little teenager pricks will do that sorta thing. I'm just psyced I don't have to go in the woods when I can't hold it anymore. We should epoxy it to the ground like the rest of Birdsboro Quarry so the little pricks can't knock it over.

Maybe put a sign on it: "Use, don't Abuse, or it will be removed" Maybe the teenies will appreciate having it too?

It would be nice if that were the case. But like most teens these ones are little pricks that have no respect for anything and feel the urge to spraypaint on everything

Excellent and much appreciated display of generosity. I was actually thinking of climbing there tomorrow but now I see 100% chance of storms forecasted for overnight... how quickly do the climbs dry??? Do you think tomorrow is an option?

Stays somewhat dry in the rain, and dries fast. It has to rain for a few days to get totally soaked. Tomorrow is definitely climbable if you don't mid a little water here and there.

I've been headed to the Bird 3-4 times a week lately for projects. Any chance to get a key for the bathroom?
