Looking for partners to do some ski mountaineering/ climbing. Its been a bad year there so I figure by the time I get there the snow might be gone and it'll be rock climbing. Looking for a partner to climb matterhorn w that knows the route. Want to ski/climb Mt Blanc as well. Also open to options in Austria. Also any recommendations on essential hitlists would be greatly appreciated. Might be looking for guide recommendations if partners don't line up. Thanks all! Brandon

Isn't April 12-May 15 too early for Matterhorn? There should be snow there around that time. I am in Chamonix till early May. If you are up for climbing, let me know. Or do some skiing up Zermatt. I could get you into rando..

I will be arriving in Chamonix on April 7th and will be looking for climbing (rock/ice/alpine) or backcountry skiing partners (depending on conditions) for the 8th-10th if anyone is available and interested? I'm attempting the Haute, with a partner, from the 11th-16th... Thanks!

No worries. I have done Haute twice north and south routes. We just did two days of hard bits from Arolla to Zermatt; last two days for fun to get acquainted with Arolla. Snow is melting fast. It is good fun. It is definitely summer / spring condition. Grand Montet is jam packed with Haute crowd. Good luck

I am currently living in Heidelberg, Germany but I am interested in going to Chamonix for a week in April just to climb if possible. I don't have a rope or quickdraws since I left most of my gears behind before I moved here but got my harness, chalk, sling, and shoes ready to go. I can lead up to 6b / 5.10b (sports climbing). If you are around and feel like taking a fellow climber with you, reliable and fun, let me know ;)

Well, as things are shaping up I'll be in Chamonix to free ski or climb until April 29th. If anyone needs backcountry partners to ski, I'm in. Or if the routes are clearing up, I'm down for some cool alpine routes. Thanks all that have replied!
