(spellcheck) *giggle* just take it slow, start on easy routes, and try not to move on until you're completely comfortable on that grade.

Start off way below your previous grade level and don't rush it. Try working on building up your muscles around your knee to try and prevent future injury.

I've got a lat work out that some may think is an overkill, but my back hasn't been sore from climbing, or even been tired since I've started it. 3 sets of 18 (3 in front 3 in back 3 times) wide grip pull down 3 sets of 18 narrow (about 18 inches apart) 3 sets of 12 wide grip palms facing in 3 sets of 8 lat sqeezes HEAVY you don't have to pull down all the way just stretch and squeeze your lats. 2 sets of one hand (small bar) 3 sets of 15 seated rows 3 sets of 12 upright rows. 1 set of roman chair back extensions with just body weight You don't have to go real heavy for any of this, and I wouldn't recomend just jumping in to it. Its mainly for endurance, so don't rest to much beween the sets. I do it twice a week and so far so good.

Finger boards rock rings and campus rungs will build contact stragnth and increase core stregnth. The hardest part is finding a place to mount the grips. There is also a variety of exercises to keep you interested/motivated. Keep a log to track your progerss...I find this works the best TO climber
