How are things going? found many climbers / crags?
I might be passing through in April, trying to plan a trip right now. Trying to decide if I should focus on the US for climbing, I'd like to see central america too, only have 4 months.

I've had no luck with climbing here, and regret bringing my gear. The climbing community doesn't seem to frequent this site, there is no info on routes anywhere I can find, so the only way to find them is to physically go to the climbing gym in San Jose. There's lots to do here, but don't come here for climbing. If you want a cool spot, try Potrero Chico in Mexico, it's a paradise. There's plenty in the States. I'm sure you could set some routes here in Costa Rica yourself, but it would be a lengthy endeavor. Best of luck, and happy climbing.
