just to look up some of the specs on my old Black Diamond Camalot & Camalot Junior cams. all the juniors are U and I've got a few generations of the Camalots (double and single stems) all dating before the C4 naming.

Expansion ranges for the camalot junior and classic for the versions between 1992 (U stem) and 1999 first (and second?) generation single stem for the #.5, #.75, #1, #2, #3, #4. This is before the naming of the C4's and when they still had a #3.5. Thanks!

Here's the ranges (inches) for the 2000-2001 series (single stem in all sizes, PRE-C4). I believe U-stem ranges were identical, but I have to do more digging to confirm that. .1 .34-.54 .2 .41-.65 .3 .50-.86 .4 .61-1.05 .5 .80-1.30 .75 1.00-1.60 1 1.20-2.00 2 1.50-2.50 3 2.00-3.40 3.5 2.40-4.10 4 2.90-4.90 But as many people have pointed out over the years, the USEABLE range is a fair amount narrower than these. Clyde Soles did a good comparison across brands: http://www.clydesoles.com/Front/Camssize.html
