I live in downtown SLC and have been climbing for about 2 years, a year and a half of that in a gym. I have full sport gear (rope, draws, etc) but no pro for trad. In the gym I was consistent on 5.10s, but on the crag I've been leading 5.8-5.9's.
What are some great classics/good areas to learn within 45 minutes of SLC? Been climbing mostly at Storm Mountain but want to move on to somewhere else.
Also, I'm looking for more climbing partner(s)... I don't know many people that climb so I only get out once every couple of weeks. I'm an eager and motivated climber who'd be happy to belay you and try to follow. PM me if interested.
