I'm glad they posted your article. Nice job! I was acting as a conduit to the other side! After winning, did Nathan and you get any free clothes or toys/tools for ice climbing? Or vacations to the French Alps or Norway, yet?

He drove 300 hours straight through leaving Monday morning to get home Tuesday afternoon. On top of returning to work and trying to play catch up he's also had to wash clothes, deal with a devil kat and pack both his and my stuff so we can go north and get some more ice climbing in.

Well I have a strong feeling he's on the right track to more success. Best to you both with your ice climbing adventures. Hmmn. maybe next year both of you can win! You both make a great team.

WHAT is up with that rockand ice article? seriously it came across so disparagingly. That is not how you write up an epic underdog story. There are dozens of movies out there that show you how to do it.

I'm not sure exactly what it will take to get sponsored. However it seems like climbers such as Dean Potter, Ammon McNeely and Step Davis have added base jumping and speed climbing to their routines. Since you are climbing ice, it might help to speak to a friendly sponsored ice climber/ or contact possible sponsors directly. Good Luck-
