So I might be moving to Joshua, Tx and was wondering if there is anywhere to boulder there.......that's close....I know about Mineral Wells and the random gyms but was hoping someone new of anything of the beaten path.

There is lots of hidden rock around. You just have to know the right people to ask. Mineral Wells is a horrible place. Paradise on the Brazos is better but still along the lines of Mineral Wells. Cleburne or "The Burn" is close by but very secret and highly private property. You can head down to the Llano river...I hear there is some rock in the river and along the sides you can climb and boulder on. Or go down to Enchanted Rock for some great granite climbing. Try looking here for more info. http://www.mountainproject.com/v/texas/105835804 JB

You are very close to the Nolan River Boulders near Blum. The approach is kind of gross but the boulders are decent.
