I'm so fucking tired. I hardly got any sleep last week while my mother was here and it was soooooo warm in my apartment last night.

Potluck night tonight though. Should have time to do a quick hangboard workout before I go out. Then maybe a 20km ride, and then we eat way too much.

Looks like jak doesn't get his dollar. Knot so fast there...... While it's tru snoppy showed up on sat. I made him relocate a rattle snake, that tried to bite him and wrassel him into teh pond. Go by a gnu sling to hang on teh Drive By... then go up and change it. Belay forever while Nate hung fix'd draws awl over teh fuking crag. Belay C-ya, Enrico, 2X agent and Terrie. Hang teh warm ups so I didint has two. Rearange draws fer Terrie... so it wood be easier fer her to hopefully send. And assorted other chores. He wus lucky to get anything dun fer hisself. Even thou Sunday wus a climbing day fer him, he decided knot to cum back.... I wunts my dollar!!!1 Nau! NAU!!!!!!! And dun't try to pawn oft sum other dollar bill on me... I rote down teh cerial number. Also had to relocate a copperhead teh other day. Picked him up with the stickity clippity, he struck it several times. Then we had a discussion about whether venom would be bad for draw nylon when we stuck the first bult. A girl asked if she could use the stickclip, and I told her yeah, but not to touch the clip since there might be venom on it. She gave me a weird look and backed away. Thanks for giving me an idea for how to keep the girls away from Banz's stick clip. Speaking of crag fauna, yesterday, Banz went for the pocket while starting a route, and jumped about 6 feet away from the rock, bc something made a sound inside the pocket. It looked like an awesome pocket, but not THAT big... Still, something was definitely inside it, and we didn't investigate further, thinking that it was a snake or a bat. He skipped using the pocket, and climbed past it. The next 5 minutes were really entertaining. The mama bird (rock sparrow, I think) would fly to the pocket with a worm, perch on it, look around, and then Banz would yell "slack", pull the rope, and scare the bird off. After repeating this 3 times, the bird settled on the tree and started twitting madly. After a few moments, the chick stuck it's head out of the pocket. Holly cow, I don't know where they were all fitting in there! Anyway, the chick got his head out, then the neck, then perched on the pocket, looked around, got set for the dyno, hopped a few times, repositioned a few times, took a deep breath, and finally flew to mama in the tree. It was really cute.

Great day so far. Woke up, pouring rainstorm, drank mah kawfee, biked around camp shaking down deadbeats for cash, then put on my helmet and life jacket, and bombed down into the gorge on my bike to meet up with a raft trip that Jung was doing. Got some weird looks biking in the rain with a life jacket on. Oh, and guess who was on the raft trip? Renob, and his new wife and her kids. They had a blast, gud thymes. I always liked hanging out with him in real life, we're drinking teh biers later on. I'll tell him "hi" from the gerkz, heh. Oh, and check grupe!

Well, shit. Pulled out of camp the other day and forgot my tailgate was left open. Crag pack fell out, and I've not found it yet. The pack was falling apart, my rope needed to be replaced, and my harness probably did too. But the Arrowheads that jack gave me, and my OG gri gri are now gone. Fuck. At least no tard gear or draws were in it.

headed off for a weke of sailing in the British Virgin Islands with family. We're bringing the shoes, so we will hopefully get to boulder at Virgin Gorda. Will probably just end up diving and drinking a bunch.

I think that some meth head in Ames Heights probably picked it up right after it fell out. Bright side is that a local sponsored climber who is an awesome guy happened to have the exact pack that I lost, and he just gave it to me, along with a barely-used rope. I'm hoping that Dr. Ivel will sell me the OG gri gri, which she does not really use that much.

What blows is that more likely than not, the guy who picked up the pack has no use whatsoever for a gri-gri. I guess it is too much to hope that he would try to sell it in town?
