Hi All,
Before buying my 1st kit, I would have a question regarding the length.
If I have a 15 meters Slackline, can I setup it to say, 6 meters? I'm asking because in my backyard, I would only have 7 useable meters.

Yeah it'll set up short just fine, though 6m will likely just tide you over, you'll be wanting to set up longer then that most of the time.

Nayas, I am a newbie with nobody in my area that does this sport. I first set my line long (I live in woods) but did not think I got it tight enough. I then put it about 5 meters and did it very tight .. but learned last weekend in Santa Monica that I was creating a 'fast' line with very quick amplitude cycles ..where perhaps a longer (not so tight) line would be slower/easier for me to learn on.
I have a canvas products company so first bought some very good polyester webbing and a ratchet and sewed up my own set. But, I found the Gibbon Classic line package I got later was better - because it has a rubber coating on the webbing that helps me not slip off the webbing so quickly. (I have to wear shoes - cannot go barefoot) I am sure more experienced/talented people do not need the help. Good luck. Jim
