Yep... Anybody who's climbed with me knows I prefer "sawed off" Dickies and a wife beater, weather permitting.

ya, all the options are brand name products right. Brand name means lots of money. I would rather add to the rack and climb shirtless weather permitting or a wife beater. Pair of cheapass pants and im all set.

A pair of loose shorts and a bandana for summer, and a sweatsuit for winter. A windsuit over the sweats, and a pile jacket if it really gets cold. A hat & wool gloves for 'round the campfire, and a t-shirt for sunburn pro. Anything more is alpinism. That's the wardrobe that's worked for me for 25 years of camping and clambering.

Hey meataxe, here's the deal. You've seen the show Cops before right?? Ok, now imagine one of the many domestic disturbance calls on the show. When the cops w/ cameras show up the dude with the mullet drinking Pabst Blue Ribbon is wearing a __________??? Correct! A wifebeater. In other words, just a plain white tank top.

I've had the same three climbing tye-dyes for years. And my favorite pair of climbing shorts just got a few chuckles yesterday! They've seen at least 1000 sends and are worn so smooth at the front pocket area they've become transparent!

My favorite old blue sweat pants, now cut off above the ankles. Whatever old worn-out T-shirt I see first, with sleeves cut off if warm enough. An old ambulance-orange EMT windbreaker with liner that a friend discarded about 15 years ago for cold weather (like 11 months/year here).
