sure it is not too late.. i just decided the other day i will be going there are tons of places to pitch a tent anne told me. i think i will be camping off in the woods somewhere though for at least a day or two. most likely in the mountains around seneca. guess that means i can't bring my bike, eh? i will be there the first friday through monday or tuesday if i don't have any exams or appts. see everyone there i hope

update....so far those attending that have given me their plans...
18 ppl staying the whole week at nelson
+ 18 ppl the first weekend
+ 5 ppl staying mid week
+ 21 ppl the second weekend
BTW...hoppinbig:
i'll put $5 on ptpp...cause i think he is the only one at the gathering with the balls to do one, besides me

Bad news. I can't make it to the gathering. Financial issues have made me make a choice.
My Mom moved to Florida and I want to see her. My wife likes the beach.
I got Yosemite and Mt. Whitney a year and a half ago.
My wife never gets a vacation. She supports my adventures and they usually use up what spare money we don't have, which eliminates her chance for a vacation.
She deserves the beach and we want to see Mom.
I am going to do my best to make another gathering this year, as I know there are many out that way. There is still the idea of a "Norman" gathering that Andy (atg200) will arrange in the near future.
I hope to see you all very soon!

hey everyone Anne, how have you been? Alright, heres the deal. Don't worry about the weather. If the sun is shining in the hills of West Virginia you can climb! It just may take a lil' dedication.
I live and work at NRP and will be there for that week and will be willing to climb with anyone so don't worry about partners either.
So lets all have a good time, climb hard and respect the preserve, because dammit! Im NOT picking up trash after everyone and that includes cigarette butts, so.. thats pretty much all I have to say.
