If you can just bring my stuff next weekend, I'll grab it then. It's not like I'm going to be doing any international travelling in the next week. :P I posted in the trip report and am still trying to compose my thoughts before I reply to the second post. Thanks for bringing it up -- it isn't just about Chickies. Dude, I have the goofiest sunburn! A little patch on the back of my neck, two circles on the tops of my calves, and two stripes down the insides of my forearms. You'd think I went climbing or something. Melissa, I'm thinkin' hard about you and Eric. Keep us up to date, baby.

Happy Monday morning everyone. Anne, too bad that such a nice climb has to have the downside of those crosses. On a happier note. I got a puppy this weekend. http://members.cox.net/...all2/new%20puppy.jpg She was abandoned at a house after a drug raid. She's about 6 months old. I think she's a Lab and Dalmation mix. We've had her for two days now and she hasn't barked once, not even a whimper.

In reply to: Is that a Meth Lab ? Could'a been, I don't know. Are you saying that may be why she's so mellow. I think she was abused. When I hold a leash she wigs out. If I hook it to her collar she won't budge. But she is just a sweet and loving little pup.

Bad Joke. She looks very content in her new surroundings. :) All of my animals are either strays or from the pound. They pick up some strange behaviors from abuse.

Good Morning Everyone, Hope all is well with Erik and no problems crop up. Sorry to hear about his accident. Great talking with you all this weekend even if the circumstances weren't happy! Spent 14 hours in the saddle this weekend and my face is burned! Sun was out the entire time. Arms look like they were set on fire! Ann, Keep me posted on your plans and give me some dates to look at! I'm planning on running down to Florida one week with the wife and kids to do our mandatory family visit thing but haven't set a date for that yet so just keep me posted. Climb On

Morning all! Good for you! One of my dogs, Agnes, was rescued from a terrible pet shop who was abusing her. She's a great dog! Ouch  Head injuries are always scary. Sounds like he is doing well, thank goodness for that.

I DONT WANT ANYONE TO FEEL MORE GUILTY THAN I KNOW THEY ALREADY FEEL!!!!!!!!!1 he needed shock absorbtion...damn, I AM SO HAPPY ERIK (cerikpete) IS GOING TO BE OK!!!! we were all SO scared on saturday...

An interesting note on head trauma: Most severe head trauma occurs due to falls of 10 feet or less.

Morning everyone. I haven't been to check on him this morning, he's at his parents place. But as of last night, he was feeling henpecked and wanting to go right back to school and work today, and had a righteous headache. He's going to be just fine, the doctors all said, as long as he doesn't fall again. His balance is a bit off due to blood in his ear, but other than that, he's the same sarcastic erik you all know.

I will ben...if he'll let me. He's a BAD patient. But yeah, I wanted to wait, but we hadn't gotten in touch with you all and he really wanted to go home. Which is not hard to believe... Thanks for all the support. I couldn't have asked for a better support system. I'm glad you all got to enjoy the rock yesterday...give us 6 months, we'll be ready to enjoy it with you. He's ready to go climbing now...kept apologizing for spoiling a good climbing day. btw anne, I forgot my sleeping bag there. I didn't realize until we hit reading. I'll be back up to get it maybe next week if thats ok?
