Headed out to NYC in a couple weeks and have heard the GUNKS are not to be missed if your in the area. Was hoping maybe to find someone who was willing to climb on a weekday. Current plan is to rent a car to make the trip from NYC to the Gunks on Tuesday May 13th, plan to visit some friends in Poughkeepsie that evening and maybe be up for climbing on Wednesday too. Would be nice to hook up with someone with gear so I don't have to travel with my whole rack on the plane. I climb 5.10 or so willing to lead about 5.8 or so. My girlfriend climbs around 5.7 - 5.8. Would like to take in some of the fine climbing I hear the GUNKS has to offer.

I climb in the Gunks, but unfortunately, I am kept in a cage with flourescent lighting during the week and forced to act busy....
I would highly recommend going to www.gunks.com and www.climbNYC.com to look for a partner. These will be your best resources.
