Ok, so here's my question??
Aren't there any girls out there who climb without there boys?
I'm dying to find a group of girls who'll do some indoor climbing with me in Ottawa and maybe some occasional outdoor.
I'm not extreme climber material, but I love getting my behind up a wall, so if I could hear from some ladies in ottawa who want to send it, get together sometime I'd totally love that.

Hi Alice,
I'm game (Ottawa West), I climb...Girls...Guys...Indoor...Outdoor...It ma'ka no difference. I am well connected and keen with a good attitude, we'll have fun...Last outdoor was Bon Echo with PTPP and was at VR yesterday...I expect I'll be spending some more time living and loving with who ever's available at Eardley Escarpment this season. I am fairly busy by nature but make the time to do what I love and love what I do...

You should stop in at Coyote Rock Gym off of St. Laurent if you haven't already. There is a motivated group of women that climbs there pretty regularly (M-F), and their all different levels if you have not been climbing long or are looking for a challenge. I find the atmosphere at Coyote to be super friendly, so I'm sure you won't have a problem making friends.

I’m totally up for getting together with other galz in the area. I’ve been climbing indoors at Coyote but am actually living not that far from VR and would love to find someone to climb with outside. I’m up for sport, top rope and bouldering. So, count me in!

ok i know its not what you asked for but I'm a guy and i would enjoy climbing with anyone male or female in the Ottawa area.... if it doesn't matter that i am a guy i've got many years of experience and just want to get out. My days off are in the middle of the week thats the only thing. Any one?

Sorry to drop in uninvited
I put my own posting up but no one replied and so i thought I would look for relevant forums.
I am living and working out of the country and never did any climbing back home. I have only taken it up this year. I will be returning during the summer (july 21) for six weeks. I know I will be in Ottawa visiting my sisters and some friends and was hoping to do some climbing.
In fact my plan is to climbing and tour my own back yard, as much as possible in six weeks.
If you are looking for a partner to do any climbing anywhere in ontario over the summer please keep me in mind.

Not a lady, but was wondering if anyone was going to VR tonight. My partner just flaked on me (he has the flu, some excuse, eh :P) so was wondering if there was any point in my driving from ottawa far far west (like past stittsville). If anyone wants to climb TR with me, please post here, or email me by 3 (i was supposed to go at 4, but i guess i can go whenever tonight, no sooner than 4 though) but will need an hour's notice, so i can get to the gym on time.

Ok, ok, I know this is a really old post, but I am new, so it is new to me! :)
I am interested in finding climbing partners in the Ottawa area, I am only around for the winter, so indoors at Coyote is preferred (spelling?) Give me a shout if you are available and interested in top rope or lead, I am usually around evenings and weekends. (for lead, I would prefer to climb with someone within 60 lbs of me (I weight 140)
